GREEN BAY, Wis. -- As quarterback Aaron Rodgers' passes zipped around the Don Hutson Center on Thursday, Green Bay Packers receivers seemed to have an extra inch or two their vertical jumps and their offensive linemen appeared to hold their blocks for a second or two longer.

OK, maybe not.

But things felt -- and looked -- different at practice on Thursday.

Can the return of Rodgers from his Nov. 4 broken collarbone have that big of an impact?

"That's why you pay him so much money because he makes everyone else better," Packers receiver James Jones said.

I've got to say that I'm pretty excited about the return of Aaron for Sunday's game. It is going to be a very cold game, but his return should help. The intensity will be very high on both sides of the ball, and I think this team sees themselves being in a position to make a run with Rodgers back under C.

It is going to be ugly playing on the Soldier's Field turf, or rather, dirt. But the CHI defense will have a difficult time going against this Packers team with Rodgers. Hopefully, we see a very big dose of both Lacy and Starks to take the heat off of their pass rush, and control the clock. I can see where Aaron being back will heighten the play of many of our players, both on O and D. I'd love to see our D get a boatload of picks this game. Sounds like they are starting Cutler, so, maybe...

GB has seen what they need to do to play at a higher level of intensity. When they do they win. When they don't the results are not so good. Since this is basically round 1 of the playoffs and the playoffs are more intense they have what it takes to win on Sunday.

Not trying to take a jab at Flynn - he potentially kept the boat afloat when others just couldn't seem to do the job.

I think the Pack will win this weekend - the Bears have been insanely inconsistent. I want to see them flatten those guys into bear skin rugs!

I think the muddy surface will play to the strength of our defense. Especially a guy like Hyde who doesn't have that top end speed. And he's gonna be a factor. Probly helps our RBs too. They're mudders.

Gonna be dirty, cold, snow?(not sure).

I can see Aaron throwing for under 250yds, but Lacy, Starks and Kuhn will tear up The Bears defesne, control the ball and put the game away by the end of the 3rd quarter.

Packers 24 Bears 9.
I was addicted to The Hokey Pokey, but I turned myself around!
