They'd put up 60 points easy and I knew that before yesterday which is why I didn't want this team to come anywhere near the playoffs. But apparently that makes me a "Doom and Gloomer"

Funny how he's only around when we whip a weak sister, telling us how stupid we all are. I laughed my ass off when Hawk got pancaked by the Lion fullback.

At that point I knew it was make or break time. And for two weeks this defense was completely unable to make 3-5 plays a game when it ABSOLUTELY had to and I knew then and there after the Giants game the season was over. But somehow I knew they would blow the Eagle and Giants games. I wanted to be wrong. I really did want to see this defense show guts and heart and fight like there was no tomorrow.

im not one to badmouth my team, but i strongly believe capers has got to go, there isnt a reason i can think of to keep him around. this team had a win wrapped up against the vikes but couldnt stop them in ot, then there up 10-3 and feeling pretty good, then the roof caves in, im very tired of having a guy responsible week in and week out that gives up so many big plays , its truly sickening . the time has come even though he will last until the end of the season due to loyalty by management !!

In 2014?

Hell, he shouldn't be our DC this coming Sunday...

Fire his ass now. How many years of record setting for defensive futility must we put up with as fans?

We are making NFL history for all the wrong reasons because of Dom Capers, and Mike McCarthy's unwillingness to address the issue.

No, he should not return as Defensive Coordinator. Bottom in defense in yards and most importantly points. If Capers returns, Mike McCarthy will lose the team because it'll show no one is accountable and less than mediocrity is 'ok'. Sometimes, someone needs to lose a job to light a fire under the butts.

I am actually a big fan of the 3-4 defense though. Do you guys have a preference on that?

I think we can all agree that Capers needs to have his full compliment of playmakers to make this coaching effective. If we are expecting a get more out of less talent coach, then yes fire Capers. But I think he still has some value yet...

Well, for some reason he seems to prefer 4-3 hybrids, but he's got his guys back. It's been three friggin years.

But then I look at the New England Patriots and they run a hybrid and seem to be plugging in better talent. They are still getting gashed at times but...

oh hell this will keep going around in circles anyway. And I agree, Dom has had his chances and it is probably time for a switch yes. That being said, I would also challenge the personnel department for some better talent in future drafts 🙂
