Lansanah was drawing interest from Miami and we didn't want to lose him. This move might have happened anyway because even though White was very good on special teams, he was kind of a no-show in the base defense. The team obviously feels that Lansanah has more upside there, and if so, they made the right decision.

And, who knows? We probably won't be able to keep Hawk and Barnett together forever. Thompson might be looking for a future starter and he already knew he didn't have one in White.

He wouldn't sign a FA vet, and his only moves are non-moves by signing guys off the practice squad that he drafted because he thinks every single stupid draft pick of his is going to work out.

He made the wrong move at QB, and he hasn't done shit to fix the O-Line and D-Line in FOUR YEARS!
