I'm as glad as anybody that we now have Lacy and the probable ability if we choose, to close out a game with a series of runs. I'm also glad that the defense shows signs of being better, especially against the run. However, I do NOT want the Packers to "evolve away" from the "Aaron Rodgers aerial circus". That is what got the Packers to the high level they are, and making the team more ordinary and run-first oriented IMO is NOT a good thing.

With the schedule coming up, we should have that hot streak regardless of which way McCarthy chooses to go. However, when we start to play top flight teams in the playoffs, I'm hoping we do it with that passing circus, and with the threat of a running attack, but mostly very limited use of it.

When Starks gets healthy, I wonder if the Packers will mix up the RBs any. Mike McCarthy has said he prefers one freatured back idea, over rotating backs in there. Because defense can get a read of what play call it is by which back is in the game.

Then again, that's Mike McCarthy fault for not mixing it up more with different RBs. I remember one game when Ryan Grant was banged up and clearly on a limited snap count. Every time Grant got in the game it was a running play. Play action with him would of been great at the point when the defense figured it out... but I don't think Mike McCarthy did it.

But hey, if one back makes it easy for Mike McCarthy play calling, then fine
as long as long as they just win baby 👍

When Franklin got healthier he used him through last week's game including a few times in the red zone. I am sure coach can and will utilize two backs if he believes it helps the team move the ball.
