Jaire Alexander is shutting some people down. The Packers seemed to be in Matt Ryan's face quite a bit all game long. That has to help a cornerback.

I think the CBs were used differently too, I think they were in one side more of the other games, this game I think they followed the WRs for matchups.

As I said Julio Jones is kinda big for Alexander to cover, not saying he can't, just there is a clear size matchup problem.

And Ridley is very quick and smooth, which King struggles with, so making them follow one made a lot of sense...

As I said last week, Jaire is playing at a prime "Revis Island" level, a CB that is truly capable of shutting his half of the field down. I legitimately cannot think of any other CB in the league I can say that about (including Jalen Ramsey). This isn't just Pro-Bowl level, it is All-Pro level. The last two weeks (against the Saints and when covering Ridley (which was at least 23 snaps)), Jaire has given up a total of 1 catch for -2 yards... you don't even dream of a CB being that good because it is downright absurd.

Which is why you live with any missed tackles Jaire may make covering for his teammates (especially when Ty Summers and Will Redmond have prime blame).

What I would give to watch Jaire vs. Davante in practice when both are trying.

And to reiterate, I'm still totally down to have Jaire's babies despite my biological limitations. Dude is so, so, so good.
