I would be shocked if he could DD. The guy was a 7th round pick and played like crazy to get to that starter role. Now he's kinda being thrown out by the emerge of Jennings and he still plays with a smile on his face.

I think you need a couple of guys like that. He gets the work ethic up, going out there as not the most physically gifted guy, but as a hard worker and running all over defenders. I love him.

I have always admired DD. He has a great attitude. That he plays at this kind of a level in the NFL is so impressive esp when you realize he was homeless as a kid and lived in several different homeless shelters. Just an amazing man.

I don't see it like that. What I see is that DD is getting double teamed as the veteran on the squad which allows the other, younger players to flourish, which Jennings (Walker before him) and Jones are using to their opportunities to grow as players. I'm sure DD is perfectly happy in his half mentor half leadership role that he has, and doesn't feel like he's being forced out or anything.

interesting there are some fans that feel he is next to be cut by Ted Thompson

remains to be seen eh?

I would lose any respect I had forTed Thompsonat that moment. I mean, DD has to be a great influence for younger players.

some out there ( not I ) think that Ted Thompson is looking to put a even bigger stamp on this team by getting rid of all BF favorite guys. This way it will all be Ted Thompson guys.

Ted Thompson is looking to win games any way he can. If it is with players left over from the former regime he will use them. If he can replace players, any of them on the team, with younger (or older if need be) players that have more ability he will do that.

That would be a big mistake if Ted Thompson would cut DD, he has always been one of my favorite players on the team, he is another person that is so down to earth and would stop and sign autographs for anyone.
