Harrell has been up and down each of the last two preseasons. For a guy entering his fourth year with the team, he just never made the jump Flynn did. Young ain't great, but he's an inexpensive veteran who has been an NFL starter before and can add a wildcat kinda wrinkle to the offense (if McCarthy chooses to use it) and can probably make a spot start or two in case Rodgers gets nicked up and has to miss a game or two in the middle of a playoff race. He can continue to learn the offense going into the regular season in practice and holding a clipboard on Sundays.

It was an interesting experiment to see if they could groom Graham into something more, but he just doesn't have the skillset to make much more than a third stringer on a team that usually only carries two QBs i.e. he's gonna be cut. I'd be shocked if Coleman got plucked off waivers in all honesty. He gets another year of development on the PS.

I hope the Bills and Jets don't know about Coleman and don't find out about him. Looks like they might be in the market for another QB.

I'd like to see Coleman next training camp. He's got some pretty good potential. Weather it can be devoloped or not is another question but Rodgers also poor his first two years and look how he turned it around.

I've been calling for this since the 1st preseason game tried to post it but someone felt it wasn't warranted anyway he stinks and for my money let Vince young carry the clipboard and pray Aaron stays healthy !!

So it is Finley's fault that Harrell was cut. If he catches that td pass Young would have been released. 😉

The whole point of having a running game is to draw 8 guys into the box, so you can run wild over the top. PROBLEM: You have to be able to throw it that far.
