I'm not saying one thing or another here, just an observation that is all and I find it amusing. Just looking at a whole. Rodgers is nothing, now the Packers are nothing with out him. I dunno, its just kind of funny.

Then again many are just annoyed with the fact that the Pack did not sign a capable NFL QB as Aaron's back-up during the offseason. Even before the Brett fiasco this should have taken place. Looking at the way Flynn played (I can't imagine how bad Brohm must be if that was what our #2 QB is capable of) we are most definitely screwed if Rodgers gets injured.

Rodgers is doing great, but let's be honest he had not proved anything at the NFL level to give him a starting job with 2 rookies as his back-ups.

I have said since the day Favre retired that we are a playoff team. Never been a doubt in my mind and there still isn't. If we fail this year it won't be because we are a bad team, it will be because injuries decimated us and we are too inexperienced to overcome.
God didn't create Aaron Rodgers, Aaron Rodgers created God.

the reality is While Rodgers did well his first two games (117 rating) his last two games were poor (67 rating) now he gets injured which was a concern for many before anything happened.

Last year
Were we really that good last year?
did we benefit from an easy schedule last year?
Did Favre make us better last year?
Lack of injuries?

This year
Are we struggling this year because favre is gone?
because Rodgers is in his first year of starting?
we, once again are extremely young?
Our schedule is tougher?
Injuries?

I don't think people are changing their minds and going off the deep end each week. I think you get responses from different people who have been consistant all along. you will hear more from the positive backers when we are doing well and more from the negative backers when things go wrong.

Yeah you're right. Ted and Mike should have gone down to the farm and picked a capable QB off the "QB Tree". What a bunch of idiots they are.

While I understand the sarcasm to a point, do you really believe it was wise to not bring a Veteran in for insurance this season?

Granted.. Brohm was suppose to be close to NFL ready, or at least that was the McShay and Kiper type lines.. I just don't see the wisdom in not bringing a Veteran aboard.

Some of that was PR related because of the Favre saga.. but seriously, we didn't bring in even a experience QB in. For all the right moves Ted has made, I can't accept this one as a wise move.

It means he is capable of performing well, not proven to perform well. And the knock is also regarding his health. Like it or not, we are exactly where we didn't want to be, facing having to use back ups. something we havent done in 15 years.

Like him of not, Favre did two things better than anyone else, ever.

I wasn't really making it a Favre quote but since you did, I would guess that he would have been able to muster something out of that game, plus we wouldn't be wondering if he was going to play this week.

i like the pack and think a-rod will do fine he just needs to open up for some reason he just seemed timid in these games i dont know if anyone here watched the steelers ravens game but their q.b reminds me of a-rod that guy has a good arm, with the injuries right now i think our team has shown they can still play i think flynn if need be to fill in will be like the ravens q.b but in all fairness we do have to give him a chance,i know our d-line took a big hit with injuries and that will be a problem but i think they can over come it with the talent, just feel we are in the same boat as the colts look at that team right now manning has no time to make the right choice they are right up there the pats too where will these teams be come the playoffs,i think we have just as good a chance as they do.

men...i will NEVER understand y'all. 😉

we have the team we have - period!

analyzing every miniscule detail helps you feel what? superior cuz YOU and ONLY YOU could have/would have foreseen the future of this team down to the last detail & done this, that, or the other thing differently?!?

i understand questioning the whole veteran/rookie back up qb deal - i can't imagine there's anybody who wouldn't feel a veteran would be a better back up for rodgers but we didn't get one.

beyond that, comparing seasons to seasons, qb's to qb's, etc... is just craziness. i'm happy favre is doing good but do i honestly care about every detail of his career with the jets this season? hell no! sorry but i'm not a jets fan - i'm a packer fan. i wasn't on here snickering during the games he struggled & i'm not high-fiving anybody for his performance last week either.

last season we were a different team - just like every other season before that. why can't people understand that simple fact?

geez i'm rambling - quit it!!! lol.
