Well Zero you know i havent changed my tune all year. I took a lot of bs for it but i predicted a 4-12 season and even if things were different at the qb spot i said we would be lucky to finish 8-8. I could be wrong because there is another 3/4 of the season left but i just don't see it. But you have a point i sat here and watched people praise Rodgers one week and then the next they are saying he sucks. People if you praised Rodgers at the start of the season and live with it after all you were the ones bashing us that dont care for him. Just from looking at the threads like the one comparing Rodgers vs Alex Smith and how Smith sucks and Rodgers is great, without looking that Smith was thrown right in as a Qb without sitting out 3 years. So for all you Ted Thompson and Rodger lovers stick with your first thoughts and lets not be steeler fands that BOO there team when they are losing 6-3.

i don't recall bashing anyone for not "liking" rodgers. all i've ever said is give the kid a chance & that means MORE than just a few games people!

there's nothing i hate more than people who play the "told ya so" line which is why even though i wanted to SO badly after the first 2 games, i kept myself in check cuz it IS a long season.

predictions mean crap because nobody could have predicted the large amount of injuries we'd have this season, how each player in their position would play, which plays the coaches would call, blah, blah, blah...i could go on & on!!

i'm not panicking because i viewed this year as a "let's see what happens" kind of season and i think that's exactly what it is!

The Packers did not PICK Rodgers over Favre. Favre was pressured INTO a decision TOO SOON a decision the Packers say they felt was RETURN TO THE PACKERS. He instead retired. It caught them OFF GUARD, so they say.

You can not say for four months that Rodgers is our guy then Brett comes back throwing people under the bus and give him the job. Don't people THINK before they talk about this?

FOOTBALL IS A BUSINESS! It's a bitch. I hate seeing MY QB in a ugly ass JETS uniform, but I will be damned if I am going to be naive an ignorant enough to bash the Packers for doing what they feel is BEST for the Packers since their QB RETIRED when they felt he would RETURN.

Ive been a packer fan for 39 years so i have seen the good and bad if you really needed to know.

I think what he is getting at is that you never have a good thing to say about the team as a whole ( although I have not read every thread of yours so you may have praised them the 1st 2 games)

Then again many are just annoyed with the fact that the Pack did not sign a capable NFL QB as Aaron's back-up during the offseason. Even before the Brett fiasco this should have taken place. Looking at the way Flynn played (I can't imagine how bad Brohm must be if that was what our #2 QB is capable of) we are most definitely screwed if Rodgers gets injured.

Rodgers is doing great, but let's be honest he had not proved anything at the NFL level to give him a starting job with 2 rookies as his back-ups.

Yeah you're right. Ted and Mike should have gone down to the farm and picked a capable QB off the "QB Tree". What a bunch of idiots they are.
