I have to agree. Sherrod is not a bust. It was a horrific injury. Harrell too had injury issues but he had issues when he was drafted so that makes his failure a little bit different.

I expect Sherrod to begin the year on the PUP. There is no way for him to get enough reps to be a contributing member of the team between now and the start of the season. After PUP is over I have no idea.I would hate to see him stuck on the IR for another year. He seems to have made some progress. It just takes time.

When I think about Sherrod, I think of Mike Flanagan:

Hope Sherrod has that kind of resolve. A high percentage of people wouldn't have what it takes to make it all the way back. Maybe we should cut the kid some slack before whipping out names like Mandarich and Harrell.

I agree with those who say Sherrod shouldn't be considered a "bust".
He is a victim of a very serious injury.
To lump him in with Mandarich is plain silly.
