I can only go by the stats here, and unfortunately it didn't look too good.

Seems like:

1) Poor OL

2) Rodgers holding for too long

3) Defensive backs still need improvement

4) Haven't fixed poor TE coverage since last year

5) Injuries

6) Penalties

That about sums it up?

Anyway I expect a rebound next week against TB, and hopefully they can learn a thing or two from this game.

Also wanted to say, if an 80.1 QB rating, just shy of 300 yards and 1 rushing TD is part of Rodgers' 'growing pains' when the Pack loses, then I think the future is still pretty damn bright and I'm happy with who we have.

A better O-line was the difference in the game.

A healthy RB for the Packers would have helped.

Sitton and Wells will be healthy soon.

Grant may need a couple weeks off to get healthy.

The Packers look like a playoff team. They don't look good enough to be a championship team.

This COULD turn out to be a good loss. Time will tell. But right now it's disappointing because it really wasn't a very close game. The Packers lost the physical battle on both sides of the line of scrimmage, and they also failed to come up with as many big plays as the Cowboys.

If I was a Cowboy fan, I would feel very good about this game. That makes it hard for me not to feel bad about it as a Packer fan. The only really good news is that there are still 13 games left in the season, so there is plenty of time for the Packers to improve. It's not a time to panic by any means.

And there's nothing good about losing to the Cows. Nothing.

RP, it's almost like you should be a motivational speaker or something. haha. i didn't know that Rodgers passer rating was over 100 last night. good deal. I think we have a lot to improve on. Good news is i really think we will improve throughout the season. And maybe I'm biased, but even though Dallas is playing great ball, i don't think they can get much better.

2) Rodgers holding for too long.

Not really his choice, nobody was getting open. I think it is time to start investing in some of the $13M that was saved from losing Favre. The Pack need O-line help.

i'm surprised nobody mentioned the complete bonehead play we tried on 1st down, our last drive (at least i think it was our last drive). WTF was THAT?? there was 1:30 left in the game & we try some idiotic "trick" play? then that whole drive that was short passes down the middle?? can we NOT throw down the sideline?? i know the game was pretty much over but i felt we were complacent at that point. and yes, everybody was tired & suckin air out there but why not send driver & jennings down field, have rodgers chuck a few & see what happens.

ok, rant over - i feel mucho better!! 😃

Our main problems. No redzone offense. Can stop other team on 3rd down.

Crosby shouldn't kick field goals less than 45 yards out. We should be scoring TD when we're that close.

We have the best D in the league on 1st and 2nd down. On 3rd, we are pathetic.

c'mon guys. the wheels aren't falling off the bus here. No, we're not perfect. And the Cowboys are as close to perfect as there is this year. We don't need to reinvent the wheel. Take some time. Regroup. Continue to grow and improve. Focus on Tampa.

I know we lost and we lost bad. I don't think it's because we're that bad. I think Dallas is really that good. If we meet them again in the playoffs, i think we'll have had time to grow into a much more competitive team.
