The official numbers have been filed for the Aaron Rodgers five-year, $110 million contract extension. Here's the breakdown, via Rob Demovsky of the Green Bay Press-Gazette. 1. $35 million signing bonus. 2. $4.5 million base salary in 2013, with $500,000 workout bonus. 3. $9.5 million roster bonus in 2014, guaranteed for skill and injury. 4.

That was important to me, but I think it was natural in this situation because there’s a very good relationship there (with the Packers) and it was really the Packers wanting to make this happen. This was different in the fact that there was two years left on my deal, so they had to want to make this happen. It didn’t matter where we were at or what ideas we had, it had to be the Packers being on board with this, and for that I thank them. It’s exciting knowing I’ll have the opportunity to finish my career here and be a Packer for life.
