Lost in the equation is 24 PD over the last 3 seasons, 7 last season in only 12 games. 5 INTs, 4 FFs, 4 sacks, 5 FRs over those 3 seasons. His coverage ability is still quite good, over the middle, where we need that help. Is he what he used to be? No. But, he's still a good player in the middle.
To be fair, Hawk had a pretty decent 2010, with 10 PD, 3 INTs, 1 FR and 0.5 sacks. He just hasn't had much since in those areas. 0 PDs last year, 0 FFs, 0 INTs, 0 FR... But, he did have 3 sacks, his highest total in years.
I'm just thinking a guy like Urlacher might really, really like to have a chance to play with GB and a more real shot at a SB. A highly motivated Urlacher may not be a bad addition.
