Good to hear other kickers come out in his favor. Hopefully he was able to fix his issue during the week.

Even my lions fan father in law thinks Crosby will come around. Really could use him this season, though... We're not in the postseason yet, and we sure could use a kicker if/when we get there.

Watching the Raiders game today made me sick. Janakowski kicks a 55 yarder and he made it look like a chip shot. I think Crosby has the leg to be like that, but I think from all the years they messed with his kicking style might have messed him up. I never understand why they draft someone that was good in college and right away they think they have to change the way they do things. I like Crosby alot but I am thinking they need to draft someone next year and bring in the competition. You watch these young kickers and they are hitting from 50 plus alot and they make it look easy.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

ok here is a list of young kickers and their stats from 50 plus yards

Blair Walsh 5-5
Connor Barth 4-7
Justin Tucker 4-4
Greg Zuerlein 5-8

Crosby 1-5 So I guess the whole theory of Mike McCarthy makes him take to many attempts of 50 plus yard fgs goes out the window.

No one is saying he's the best. But much like a QB who can rocket it 70 yards on a rope, when you have a kicker who can belt 65 yarders, you give them full opportunity to hone in their accuracy. And outside of the Colts game, he hasn't cost the Packers a win. Wait, did he miss one against the Seahawks this season?

Zero2Cool (14h) : There doesn't need to be a topic. There's a playoff prediction thread.
packerfanoutwest (14h) : and there no SB contest over in the other Packer forum, either
buckeyepackfan (15h) : #2Officially Retires!
beast (15h) : Probably no SB topic as people are wore out talking about the Chiefs, Refs and Eagles
Zero2Cool (15h) : Packers reportedly have their new LB coach, promoting Sean Duggan to that role
Zero2Cool (19h) : WR Cooper Kupp is being traded.
packerfanoutwest (4-Feb) : why is there no SB Prediction topic?

Mucky Tundra (30-Jan) : Now that's a thought, maybe they're looking at the college ranks? Maybe not head coaches but DC/assistant DCs with league experience?
beast (30-Jan) : College Coaches wouldn't want that publicly, as it would hurt recruiting and they might not get the job.
beast (30-Jan) : I thought they were supposed to publicly announce them, at least the NFL ones. Hafley was from college, so I believe different rules.
Mucky Tundra (30-Jan) : Who knows who they're interviewing? I mean, nobody knew about Hafley and then out of nowhere he was hired
beast (30-Jan) : I wonder what's taking so long with hiring a DL coach, 2 of the 3 known to interview have already been hired elsewhere.

buckeyepackfan (26-Jan) : I forgot, they corrected the call a week later. Lol btw HAPPY BIRTHDAY dhazer!
buckeyepackfan (26-Jan) : That brings up the question, why wasn't Nixon down by contact? I think that was the point Kanata was making.

packerfanoutwest (26-Jan) : well, he was
