We're analyzing every single part of these games (and it usually comes down to the O-line), but we've been missing out on the special teams. And especially Crosby. Now that might be a good thing, but Crosby really deserves some extra praise.

I have never seen a kicker kick 3 perfect onside attempts in a row. We didn't recover either yesterday, but he really lobbed it in perfectly. Same for the kick in the Bengals game. The amount of finesse he has to go along with this strength is truly amazing. His accuracy might be lacking a bit at this point, but I'm positive that he'll get it down.

Lets just hope that he won't go the Longwell way eventually.

I've criticised Crosby a fair bit on these boards, but I've been massively impressed with his kickoffs and on-side kicks. It's a bit early to judge his field goal accuracy after a few games in.

i agree i was extremely impressed by those onsides kicks, they were perfect, could not have been better, its too bad we didnt recover either last night though.

I was thinking the same thing...I honestly can't think of a more perfectly executed onside kick (from the kicker's perspective) that I've ever seen. I thought no way in hell could he top the first one, but then I think the 2nd one was even better yet our special teams couldn't capitalize!

Those were 2 perfect kicks defended to perfection by the Vikings. Crosby has been excellent all year on kickoffs.

They were nice kicks. But I would trade every onside kick for him not missing FG. Many times the FG could keep us from needing an onside.

His kickoffs are pretty good, and I hope the missing FG was just a phase.

They were excellent, yes, but given our inability to push through defenders in every aspect of the game, I'd rather we attempt the little push, roll and land on the ball move that some kickers do!
