To Baratz.. as an agent, you should never be offering up opinions upon players.

You never know what circumstances may evolve in the future.. and comments like these about Cutler and Rodgers may very well cost you a contract for representation of a player.

Not that it would ever come into play.. but neither will ever consider him for services. Not to mention teams may black ball your clients or potential players in the draft.

Stupid for established agents.. even more damaging for fledgling agents.

Good luck with the PR nightmare you created for yourself...

FYI, Finley is on pace to more than DOUBLE his drop total from 2011.

His agent's comments, along with his own subpar play, make me question just about everything regarding Jermichael Finley. Until I start seeing more of a commitment to our team's success, I will have my doubts.

Remember Finley has really only started 1 and a half years so far. Give the kid some time, he's young and still maturing.

Finley is the Jarrett Bush whipping boy of the offense.. that is after Grant wasn't retained anyway.

Finley, by just being a threat helps the Packers.. if he can straighten out the drop issue.. he can explode for the Packers. I think there was a message sent late last week.. DJ Williams getting involved.

Williams doesn't possess the speed/size ratio issues Finley can present to a defense.. but he can be and effect traditional TE in an offense.

I think Finley comes out and puts on a show this weekend.

Big knee jerk reaction to trade Finley because of something his agent says. There are plenty of slim ball agents in professional sports and they all think their opinion matters, but they don't.

Do I think Cutler is a bitch? Of course. However, I am not representing NFL players. He baited Packers fans on this one. He wanted them to ask why he didn't list Rodgers and when the masses did, the turd ran with it. I find it funny that he listed Manning and Brady, two guys that are NOTORIOUS for placing blame and yelling at teammates AND even coaches.

...I've never seen Rodgers yelling at any of his coaches.

Just goes to show the lack of intelligence this guy (Baratz) has. Don't trade Finley because of his agent's stupidity, trade Finley because by week 7, he is still dropping 2-3 passes a game.

Look, I get Zero2Cool lumping me into some kind of "mob = stupidity" category (which I do not appreciate BTW) simply for my posting this.

For the record, I would LOVE to see Jermichael Finley change all of this. Clear the air of both this PR mess, and the footballs thrown his way by Rodgers. I want the guy to be successful in GB. I'm just not seeing it happen. IMO, Baratz's remarks are fuel on what is already a decent blaze.

I would not be adverse to trading Finley now to be rid of all the distractions.

Crabtree could have caught half of Finley's drops these past two weeks. Easy.

Finley missed a block, badly, throwing Jones for a 5 yd loss on one play last week. He fumbled, killing one drive and dropped an easy 3rd & 1 pass to kill another drive. 5 days prior, he dropped an easy TD right in the bread basket, along with two other drops.

Is that "freestyling?"

Dude needs to turn this around or hit the road.

If I read your comments correct.. thoughts. Although after posting.. maybe the contract you mention is between agent and players.. if so.. never mind. lol.

He wouldn't dump his contract with the Packers.. his contract is valid unless voided by the club.

Finley could dump his agent now and retain a new one, however the new agent would garner no compensation from Finley's current deal. That money is already due to his current agent, any cut would still go to him if he dumps the agent.

Depending on the contract between Finley and Baratz.. there may be other clauses in which one or the other owes money.. but that would have no bearing on the contract between Finley and the Packers.

wpr (21-Jan) : Oregon and Georgia were locks. Without the luxury of extra playoff berths, Ohios St would have been more focused on Michigan game.
wpr (21-Jan) : Zero, no. If there were only 4 teams Ohio State would have been one of them. Boise St and ASU would not have been selected.
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : So that was 7 vs 8, that means in BCS they never would made it?
