That's a great question, and I think so, but I don't know so for sure. Though I think he might be more of a SS / nickel guy then true FS but he can play true FS better than Burnett (who struggled at it) ... but I think he's solid all around and he's got both the physical and the mental down. But the Packers (at least as of right now), don't seem to be as interested in using their safeties is multiple roles.

Just gonna do some comparisons, since I can't easily cross teams, just gonna use some PFF scores and rankings. And remember Packers scores could change a bit after the Rams and Patriots offenses come to town. (and yes these is a tie, that's not a typo)

Brice has played 380 defensive snaps (99.7% of them) while Whitehead has only played 131 (34.4%), keeping him fresh and maybe harder to target so I don't put him with the others.

Just interesting, how we had two pretty good Safeties at CB... and now don't have enough Safeties. Though maybe they didn't realize they were gonna let Burnett walk at the time when they let Hyde go and we don't completely know Randall's locker room behavior and the vets reportedly asked the coaches to cut him mid-season.
