I hate Thursday night games. I honestly don't think they're good for the league. You talk about health and safety and here we are playing two games in four days. It's not my favorite thing.

While I agree that this week is tough, the turn around, there is another side to it.

The extended week between now and the next game. I am sure there are no complaints about that stretch, albeit, that might be better later in the season than now.

Uh oh, Jordy Nelson is becoming a diva WR now. "boo hoo I need more rest, WAAAAA!". He needs to just shut up and worry about how to come down with those jump balls!

I do too when the Packers are playing, especially this one since I won't be able to watch it.

I can understand how he feels. Yeah, it's hard to feel pity for people who are making millions of dollars though. I do like the fact it's at home. I always felt that Detroit and Dallas had nearly a win a year advantage with the turkey day game always at home for them. They're home on the short turn around, the other team has to travel. And then have an extra 3 days to recuperate and prepare for the next game. They have an advantage at both ends of the spectrum versus and normal Sunday to Sunday game. So our case it should work to our advantage.

If they want Thursday games, they should schedule them around bye weeks.

I get what he is saying. I dont blame him for saying it..But he's not doing himself or anyone else any good by saying it to the media. I just hope everyone from the Packers side (including fans) realize that the Bears are playing on a short week too. All of that being said...I hate the fact that there are more and more games on NFLN

dfosterf (14-Apr) : Maybe send a crew of Angels to the Packers draft room on draft day.
Zero2Cool (14-Apr) : I am the Angel that gets visited.
dfosterf (14-Apr) : Visiting Angels has a pretty good reputation
Zero2Cool (14-Apr) : what
Martha Careful (14-Apr) : WINNING IT, not someone else losing it. The best victory though was re-uniting with his wife
Martha Careful (14-Apr) : The manner in which he won it was just amazing and wonderful. First blowing the lead then getting back, then blowing it. But ultimately

Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : Texas’ WR Isaiah Bond is scheduled to visit the Bills, Browns, Chiefs, Falcons, Packers and Titans starting next week.
Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : Spotting ball isn't changing, only measuring distance is, Which wasn't the issue.
Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : The spotting of the ball IS the issue. Not the chain gang.
Mucky Tundra (2-Apr) : Will there be a tracker on the ball or something?
Zero2Cool (1-Apr) : uh oh
Martha Careful (1-Apr) : Too bad camera's can't spot the ball as well.
Mucky Tundra (1-Apr) : So will the chain gang be gone completely or will they still be around as a backup or whatever?
Zero2Cool (1-Apr) : The method for measuring first downs in the NFL will switch from chain gangs to camera-based technology in 2025, the league announced.
Martha Careful (1-Apr) : A big step in the right direction. Just put in the college system is very very good.
Zero2Cool (1-Apr) : NFL has passed a rule that allows both teams to possess the ball in OT during the regular season
Zero2Cool (1-Apr) : Touchbacks on kickoffs will now bring the ball to the 35-yard line.
