1. Benson or Starks. Frankly, I don't think it matters. Barry Sanders might be able to get serious run yardage with the Packers' typical quality of run blocking, but I'm not sure anyone else could.
2. I don't know if its the ZBS, a philosophical predilection of McCarthy/Clement/Campen toward finesse and "tricking" the defense, or just bad run-blocking skills on the part of OL. As macbob might say, it's doubtless some of all of the above.
3. What I do know is that there never seems to be a "1, 2, 3 ...DOMINATE" attitude on run plays. I thought players like Lang and Sitton at least were supposed to be bad-attitude tough guy types. But I never see it on run plays. I just see a bunch of fat guys in tights.
I want Forrest Gregg (the tackle, not the coach) and Gale Gillingham back! Not people who appear to have learned their run blocking skills from Mrs. Colledge.
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
