CedBen sucked.

Remember against the Bares last year? Starks was going nowhere fast but Grant was finding the holes.

Where was Green today? Didn't even give him a chance.

the Defense struggled in the 2nd quarter but they made plenty of stops and the ball was given in the hands of Rodgers to perform. That pick spotting them at our 30 was the game. Those picks can not happen, credit their defense and offense but our defense at least made some plays to get off the field, our offense couldn't move the ball or sustain drives and that's why we lost.

I don't think this line in this scheme can open a hole.

It is not a personnel problem.. it is coaching and scheme. Shit can it.

There.. that is about as angry as I can get.

I think in the long run.. this loss will do more help than harm for the 2012 edition of the Packers.. they have to get more physical.. simply put.

The good news.. we left a very physical game pretty much without any damning injuries. Nelson's shot in the back of the head not withstanding.. that was a shot.

The game was a mess on both sides of the ball. I'm more disappointed in the offense. There was no rhythm. The offensive linemen were making poor reads, Rodgers was under duress, and the wide receivers struggle against physical coverage. We can harp on the play calling, but nobody got open. I saw no sense of urgency. It'll probably be a common comparison, but the Packer offense played much as they did against the Giants last postseason.

Last year, Green Bay's offense got up on their opponents, so naturally the passing yardage data was skewed. This time, San Francisco got up and exposed Green Bay's lack of physicality against the run. The 49ers beat them off the ball and they punched them in the mouth.

With that said, I saw some pass rush. Clay Matthews looked rejuvenated, but it'll be all for nothing if they can't get consistent pressure opposite of him. The 49ers were content with Joe Staley matching up with him. Most teams, especially Chicago, will double-team Mathews.

Nick Perry is a raw talent, but I see the potential. Jerel Worthy will have games like these. It's sad his best performance has come in a scrimmage, but he disappears for spurts. This was the knock on him.

Overall, it's just one game, but the better team today won. The Packers have a goal in mind and they can achieve that goal, but they're going to need to develop within the season. I hope to see the team transform into the hunter rather than the hunted. Perhaps today is the beginning of that transformation.

I had this shitty feeling when they didn't convert on 1st down and the clock didn't move on the previous possession that they should have just run out the clock since they were only at the 15 and got the ball to start the 2nd half.

The Packers simply got beat by a more physical and complete team.. this is the wakeup call, an early one, now lets see how they handle it.

This is where the rubber meets the road.. we shall see if this team gets up off the mat.
