I am not sure really on his status, but I do not believe I ever seen the Packers release his rights..
I think the Packers have him under contract, if they want him, if he is reinstated. Didn't play out enough years and had a binding agreement in place.
If he doesn't play.. we don't pay but neither does time off that deal.
My point of that matter is two fold:
One.. if he is reinstated, technically he would be a Packers.
Two.. if he is reinstated the Packers may have the trade rights of an empty paper bag at this point.
I can't find a transaction with the Packers releasing Jolly's rights.
