Safety is a much easier position to play than CB. Many corners make the move to safety to prolong their careers. This isn't anything out of ordinary. Frankly, if Nick Collins doesn't return, then this is a lock to happen. Woodson can still tackle well, which is something the Packers need out of their safeties. This, however, does make CB a relatively high need once again, but it's worth it, considering Charlie Peprah might be the worst starting safety in the league.
