I used that smiley because I was at the game and that's what it feels like now. Seriously, the best part of the game was seeing the bomber fly over before kickoff. Beyond that, this was such a disappointment.

I don't think that being a fan means one has to placidly accept whatever a team does. For example, unlike some people, I don't think booing the home team when they are underperforming is at all incompatible with being a fan. If they're simply overmatched by a superior opponent, that is obviously something else entirely.

As a Vikings fan, I know a lot about depressing rides home.

While the depression from the game may be real, but the fact that you got to share that time with your son is priceless.

The Packers will win again and they will lose again, but the times shared with your kids is limited, especially as they grow older.
Your son may not realize that at this point in his young life, but decades from now, he will remember "I was there with my dad"

Well done yoop. šŸ‘

I know there are a lot of pissed off people probably right now. But take a deep breath. It is so difficult to win back-to-back Super Bowls. I think the last time it happened was the Pats 2002-2003 and that was a team with Tom F'n Brady as the QB and Bill F'n Bellichek as the coach. Not to mention all the baggage with the off-field death to deal with.

Yeah, first team to win 15+ games and go 1 and out and the loss at home but honestly, its not like we're the Vikings or something that had a limited window. Who's old, Chuck and Driver? We're still a fairly young team with a QB in his prime. We'll be back. Obviously some things that need to get fixed but remember we were 15-1! 15-1! I think the fact that we did so well during the regular season actually screwed us because we basically didn't play a meaningful game for weeks.

Also, I am proud of this board, seems like everyone is pretty rational about all this.

The thing that is killing me right now is having to admit that Eli Manning is the real deal, I have been ragging on him for so many years, but he looked like a MVP out there.

Our expectations for the Packers are so high that a 15-1 season and a 1st round Playoff loss is a disappointment. It's pretty absurd.

Looking back at dynasties, the Packers won 5 Championships in the 60s, the Steelers won 4 in the 70s, the Niners won 4 in the 80s, the Cows won 3 in the 90s, and the Pats won 3 in the 00s.

We've so far one 1 in the 10s. This decade has started pretty well actually. Let's enjoy it as fans.
