Even the scoring came off botched touchdown attempts or outright bad calls by the officials. There can be a certain pleasure to the agony of defeat when the home team comports itself valiantly, but that performance was just embarrassing.

I don't think we saw any teams last weekend consistently play well for 60 minutes. Except perhaps the Patriots, but that game was even less entertaining than the Packers/Giants game, if such a thing were possible.

back to back is diffcult indeed. However its hard to just take a deep breath and say we'll be back next year, which I have no doubt we will. Just the fact that weren't the green bay packers on sunday makes it so much more painful. As bad as the defense is I'll take this team over anyother team in the nfl right we shot ourselves were superbowl bound if it werent for this tragic output

Evad04 makes a good point. It's rare that a team plays well all 60 minutes.

On the other hand, I'm not sure the Packers played well for six consecutive minutes Sunday. Or perhaps 6 minutes at all.

dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.
