Sure there are some general agreed upon ideas of "beauty" (symmetry, etc), but there is also a lot of variation. One of my good buddies I grew up with is highly attractive to (for the lack of better words) fat women. He loves them chunky. He's not a small guy himself, but I wouldn't consider him "fat." But for whatever reason, that's what he finds hot, and several years ago he found one and married her. She's neither highly intelligent or motivated. He literally finds her super sexy and of course loves how good she is to him. It's interesting for sure. I have no idea what psychological situations led to him feeling this way, but the fact remains it is what it is. Good for him. If more of us could be like him, many men (and women) would likely be way happier as well as society as a whole, or at least American society.

As for what NSD said about hot, I think there's a disconnect in terminology here. We've all known the "hot" girls in high school who blossomed too fast and flamed out too early, only to be hideous in their 30s. But they were 9s or 10s in HS. That's where we get the hot is no good from. From personal experience. (And I'm sure we all can think of someone off the top of our heads just like I described).

Now sexiness, that's something completely different. Sexy women ARE often intelligent, charming, and yes, good in bed.

And back to Dodd - you bring out a good point about differences. I personally find the Kardashians and Jennifer Love Hewitt both highly unattractive because they have skinny heads. But some of you will think the opposite.

Then some of you would call Kate Winslet too fat. I think she's sexy as hell.

So yes, us guys don't agree on anything when it comes to women.

As for good genes, good genes are a sign that the woman is not going to die in childbirth. That's why attractive women are attractive. It hits us all on a primal level.

As for me personally, the Brazilians got it right. They appreciate a good butt. Americans generally don't. We tend to go ga ga over girls with no butts. 🤔

Alas, I stand by what I said earlier. If I were making $8 million a year, my mistress would be a hell of a lot more attractive. But then like I said earlier, I'm a shallow guy.

I've always preferred a nice ass over big titties. Something about a nice ass that gets me everytime where the same is not said about the boobies.

Rourke sounds a little like Hitler with his beautiful women are better because good looking = good genes. Of course, I say this joking around as Rourke would never go to the level of Hitler.

If a man truly likes fat women -- or heroin chic women -- and that is the kind he pursues, more power to him. The man I ridicule is the man who settles for less than what he truly wants because he is too scared of rejection or thinks he isn't worthy. Even more so, I find the guys despicable who chase obese or older women not because they are truly attracted to them but because they think they will be more insecure about themselves and thus easier to bag. I have no respect for men who chase insecure, self-loathing women and are intimidated by -- or worse, contemptuous of -- confident, gifted women.

Not to put too fine a point on it, I'm downright ecstatic that there are so many women who like the kind of women I find unattractive, because that leaves more of my kind available. It's the same reason why I like gay men so much: the more men who prefer pegging each other to chasing nubile maidens, the more nubile maidens there are looking for what I have to offer. [grin1]

And yes, legs and ass are far more important than tits. Large tits are a relatively recent phenomenon -- the average cup size for American women has increased from B to C since the 1960s alone, and it's rapidly approaching D -- while shapely legs are timeless. Large tits don't mean anything -- more often than not they're simply a sign of excess body fat -- while muscular, athletic legs are a sign that a woman takes care of herself and is in shape. And I love women who are strong both in mind and in body.

In the words of the ancient poet: Mens sana in corpore sano. "Sound mind in a healthy body."

When I see a woman with big knockers, one of my first thoughts is usually something about how far they'll sag as she gets older. That' something I don't see an issue with on the asses nearly as much. I could be mistaken on my thinking of it being easier to firm up an ass than boobies and I'm okay with being wrong there. lol

From my experience caring for old people, it seems that asses tend to go completely flat with age, but from what I have seen, it seems to be mainly because they stop exercising these muscles. I see now reason why a person who continued being active into old age wouldn't also maintain their ass. In fact, I have seen old bodybuilders who had wonderful asses.

Still, as much as I am attracted to a round ass, I think a flat ass is much less of a demerit than saggy tits -- especially since a flat ass is fixable as long as the person isn't too weak for any kind of physical activity. When I see a woman whose breasts nearly reach her belly button, I can't help but shudder. There's no fixing that.

Well my moral superior friend Dr. Death, was it wrong for me to occassionally slip into the divorced older lady scene when I was young for some easy targets? Everyone was very willing and able as both me in my early twenties and they nearing 40 were at our sexual prime years. They taught me much, and I said thank you while woofing down the great breakfasts they use to serve their mid life crises ex-husbands. Sorry my friend, there are no rules on the wildside; unless you're one of those losers that has to drug someone.
