2: Nelson is challenging Jennings for the #1 spot.

5: Arodge was off, all day.

6: Didn't see Neal. How'd he do today?

He is, however, making the most of his opportunities while defenses focus on stopping Finley + Jennings. Nelson absolutely murdered the Bucs when the tried to stop him with single coverage.

5) This I was most surprised with. Let's be fair, we are downright spoiled when our QB has the passing day he has and we say he wasn't at his best, and can realistically suggest he struggled today. But what was interesting is that for the first time this season I got the sense that Aaron wasn't able to anticipate as well as he has in the past what the defense was actually doing. The Jones INT may be the best example. I'm not sure if I'd say he was confused, and it may just be that the two-deep safety with man underneath created little separation and so Aaron could not exploit his match-ups, but something looked off as evidenced by his play.

6) The best thing to be said about Neal is that he got out of the game without getting hurt again. Otherwise, honestly, he wasn't much help. If we send anything less than 5 rushers, it honestly seems like the QB can wait all day without worrying about getting sacked. That is a problem. We definitely need to improve our talent on the D-line, but I'm starting to wonder if we could benefit a bit more with someone other than Walden opposite Clay. Someone who actually has a skill-set suited to rushing the passer. Clay was just late a few times (usually when Woodson or Bishop blitzed), but otherwise (mostly on 4 man rushes) he most often got stuffed and there went any threat of the QB getting sacked.

And while on the subject of defensive, can we PLEASE get some LB to replace AJ Hawk outside of base packages? PLEASE? Hawk is brutal. Bishop isn't all that great either, but at least he seems to be in the general vicinity while Hawk is trailing his guy by like 5 yards. Seriously, if Chillar is healed now or will be before next season starts, can we please give him a call? Or at least draft someone to replace Hawk outside of base D. Our LBs are a huge reason our pass-D is getting eaten alive. Frankly, I'm wondering why we wanted Hawk so badly in the first place. And at the price he got, too.

Watching the post-game press conference was downright hilarious. Aaron Rodgers has to be the unhappiest 10-0 quarterback in history. [roflmao]

For what it is worth, I had no problem with LB DJ Smith trying to dive for the ball before it reached 10 yards. The ball was still going forward and seemed like it had the spin to travel the 10 required yards, and he had a pretty clean shot at it. But perhaps more reps in recovering loose balls would be ideal.

Edit, can't find the damn video to check it out. All NFL.com has is this ...

9-M.Koenen kicks onside 7 yards from TB 35 to TB 42.
RECOVERED by TB-22-L.Asante.
PENALTY on TB-9-M.Koenen, Illegal Touch Kick, 5 yards, enforced at TB 47. Green Bay challenged the loose ball recovery ruling, and the play was
REVERSED. 9-M.Koenen kicks onside 3 yards from TB 35 to TB 38, downed by TB-9-M.Koenen. Penalty on TB-9-M.Koenen, Illegal Touch Kick, declined.

I hate the spotlight, I don't like it. That's why, what happened last week, I did not like that one bit. … I don't even deal with race and anything like that. It's something we've discussed in the locker room here, and I hope it didn't offend anybody. … I'm not mad at anybody. I just don't like to be in the spotlight, and that kind of put me out there.

Jordy Nelson is openly black. He just happens to be white.

It pleases me greatly that this team feels frustrated after this win. It will hopefully keep them grounded.

"We should've dusted them," Finley said after the game. "I'm just frustrated, that's all. I'm one of the guys that can't sit on a game like this too long. I'm a competitor. It's not about me being selfish or whatnot, I just think we need to go back and go to work."

Finley, who had one catch for 30 yards and was targeted three times, said the offense "didn't come out and play fast or push the tempo."

"I'm just frustrated," Rodgers said. "I didn't throw the ball very well. I'm not trying to be ridiculously humble right now, I'm just, I'm frustrated. The ball wasn't coming off the way I wanted it to today. Some throws I usually hit, I didn't hit today. So that's frustrating."

[ . . . ]

"I'm not going to speak for anybody else, but personally I just didn't play my best game," Rodgers said. "So I've got to look at myself first, I've got to play better, and it probably won't be as close (of a game next time)."

I found this quote just interesting.

Rodgers was under the impression that Raji had to report himself as eligible on the play to the officials.

"He should probably report next time, but we got away with it this time," Rodgers said.

Former vice president of officiating and current FOX analyst, Mike Pereira, posted on Twitter that Raji is automatically eligible with his jersey number being 90.

So Rodgers was simply mistaken as to the rule.

They asked about it on WTMJ. They said if he was on the LOS he would have needed to report. Being int he backfield it was not necessary. Which makes the most sense. The bit about reporting is so the defense knows who is eligible as a receiver not who is eligible as a blocker or runner.

we had a good time at the game. A little cold but not too bad. We went in around 10:30. There were no lines at in security search area.

It seemed like Aaron Rodgers was just off a little. Several passes where deflected away from the receiver by TB. Great plays on their part. In the prior few weeks those passes where getting through. Was it the colder weather, Aaron Rodgers being a little off or TB getting the good jump? Could be any or all of them.

Maybe Hawk isn't the best defender against the pass but he was going up against Winslow on many of the plays. He is a tough TE to cover. Woody struggled with him a few times too.
