2: Nelson is challenging Jennings for the #1 spot.
5: Arodge was off, all day.
6: Didn't see Neal. How'd he do today?

He is, however, making the most of his opportunities while defenses focus on stopping Finley + Jennings. Nelson absolutely murdered the Bucs when the tried to stop him with single coverage.
5) This I was most surprised with. Let's be fair, we are downright spoiled when our QB has the passing day he has and we say he wasn't at his best, and can realistically suggest he struggled today. But what was interesting is that for the first time this season I got the sense that Aaron wasn't able to anticipate as well as he has in the past what the defense was actually doing. The Jones INT may be the best example. I'm not sure if I'd say he was confused, and it may just be that the two-deep safety with man underneath created little separation and so Aaron could not exploit his match-ups, but something looked off as evidenced by his play.
6) The best thing to be said about Neal is that he got out of the game without getting hurt again. Otherwise, honestly, he wasn't much help. If we send anything less than 5 rushers, it honestly seems like the QB can wait all day without worrying about getting sacked. That is a problem. We definitely need to improve our talent on the D-line, but I'm starting to wonder if we could benefit a bit more with someone other than Walden opposite Clay. Someone who actually has a skill-set suited to rushing the passer. Clay was just late a few times (usually when Woodson or Bishop blitzed), but otherwise (mostly on 4 man rushes) he most often got stuffed and there went any threat of the QB getting sacked.
And while on the subject of defensive, can we PLEASE get some LB to replace AJ Hawk outside of base packages? PLEASE? Hawk is brutal. Bishop isn't all that great either, but at least he seems to be in the general vicinity while Hawk is trailing his guy by like 5 yards. Seriously, if Chillar is healed now or will be before next season starts, can we please give him a call? Or at least draft someone to replace Hawk outside of base D. Our LBs are a huge reason our pass-D is getting eaten alive. Frankly, I'm wondering why we wanted Hawk so badly in the first place. And at the price he got, too.
