During this time, the following has happened.

ARod has 38 TDs and 7 INTs.
The Packers D has 29 INTs. In addition to this, in 4 games an INT sealed the game for the Packers when the opponents were driving for the winning score. In two other games, the opponent's final drive ended in an INT (but the game wasnt within one score). Also, the Giants' last 4 possessions in a game vs. GB were INT, INT, INT, ran out of time. The Packers' D has 12 interceptions in the 4th quarter in these 14 games.
This year the Packers are 31st in the league at Pass D, giving up almost 300 yards a game.
The scoring by quarter is also interesting:
1st: 115 for Packers-48 for opponents
2nd: 134-104
3rd: 106-34
4th: 96-89

Other thoughts on the NFL:
This last week was upside-down for the teams with the highest home-away win percentage. As NE and SD lost at home. And Balt,SF, Atl, Cincy, and Green Bay won on the road.

Take out Minnesota, and the AFC and NFC north are a combined 36-17.
The AFC and NFC west have a combined one team over .500 (San Fran who is 5 games up in the division already).

Our pass D may be terrible this year, but at least they're clutch as hell.

Charlie Peprah's interception was a gift because God doesn't like quarterbacks drafted by dhazer in fantasy football.

I live in a crazy world. A lad at my work is starting Tim Tebow over Tom Brady this week in FF, and it makes sense.

Heal, Neal, heal !

Saints game, how many points did the "clutch" defense give up?
Vikings game, against a rookie QB making his first start?
Super Bowl game, was last season, different year, different season, different team.

So basically, "clutch" means that you can fuck up as badly as you want for the first 59 minutes of the game, but as long as you somehow redeem yourself in the last second, it's okay?

Please give me a defense -- or a quarterback, for that matter -- that isn't clutch but can figure out how to put together 60 minutes of consistently solid football.

Robert Horry wasn't a superstar in the NBA. Yet, he is remember as being a very clutch player because of his late game 3-pointers.

So yes, you can be clutch even if you don't play well for the first 55 minutes, if you get shit done when it matters. This defense may give up a crapload of points but they haven't allowed an opponent to tie or take the lead in the 4th quarter for a long time, even though opponents have had chances to do that. And no, it does not matter that it's the defense's fault that the game is close to begin with, in terms of "clutch". If they up their play in the final moments and stop the opposing team from tying or taking the lead, I think they can be considered clutch.

Clutch =/= Dominant

Also, you seem to think I said it's "okay" our defense is like this. I don't think so, they definitely need to get it together. I'm just trying to look at some positives of the defense instead of succumbing to despair like some of you guys are (yes I know this sentence is a bit of hyperbole).
