Clifton, Lang, Wells, Sitton, and Bulaga.

If history tells us anything, it's that it takes a good 3 years for an O-line to jell and become 1 UNIT, working together.

Lang is going to replace Colledge, although not a starter much, he has been in the system.

I read on this forum how the O-line is "servicable", how there are much better players in the league than what The Packers have, that the O-line coaching is The Packers weak link.

Then I go back to last years playoff run and hear the comments of guys like Joe Buck and Troy Aikman, the other fox pre-game guys, and it seems they have a different view.

Clifton played at a pro-bowl level, Wells and Sitton(along with colledge last year), were protecting AR inside better than most. Bulaga struggled early but seemed to settle down.

I stated as soon as we knew football was coming back that I hoped Ted would bring back as many of last years players that he could, which included Colledge, but I also realized that there was very little chance since experienced starting O-lineman bring a hefty dollar # in FA's.

I also stated that MM should name a starter at LG sooner than later, 3 weeks is long enough to experiment, plug in Lang and let him get comfortable.

I know there are better OT's than Clifton and Bulaga, there are better C' than Wells, there are better guards than Lang and Sitton, and it would be great if The Packers had drafted them, but I will take these guys all coming back another year, working together as 1 UNIT, and feel reasonably confident that they will protect AR.

I'm just wondering which O-line Jay Cutler would like to linup behind?

I like AR's comments, someone mentioned it earlier, challenge these guys, let's watch them respond.

It would have been great if Sherrod would have been able to step right into a starting position, but without the advantages of OTA's and such, it is going to take him a little longer to be ready. Let's hope Cliffy can stay on the field, I would hate to see the Packers go back to playing "merry go round" with their O-line, that has shown that it does not work.
I was addicted to The Hokey Pokey, but I turned myself around!
