Right, and you can't put a blocked kick on the kicker unless it's an absolute line-drive. The missed kick against the Vikings was painful though and very intense and dramatic. My brother and I were at the game and had ulcers by the end of it.

Really, the protection had nothing to do with it, I know Alex Brown got his hand on the ball, but he was actually falling inside from what I saw. It was a poor kick.

Good move Ted.

Start locking them up!!!!

The more guys who stay with The Packers, the better off it is for the 2011 season.

This guy makes some good point.

If you break down Crosby's FG % by distance, his issue is with kicks longer that extra points but inside the 40. That should be a kicker's bread and butter. When an offense drives the ball inside the 20, it's a blow to the team to not come away with points, be it because of turnover or missed FG.

He was perfect from 0-19. That's good. From 40-49, he was 12th. From 50+, he was 17th. I think that is also pretty good. At least nothing I would even consider complaining about.

From 20-29 he was 34th and from 30-39 he was 30th. That's horrible. On FG attempts that should be points for a professional kicker. 17 guys were perfect from 30-39 and 31 were perfect from 20-29.

I'm not a Crosby fan. I think he is average or a little below average. But I don't think he's horrible.

I think a more accurate comparison is using a group of kickers within 5 attempts at a certain range.

To put this deal in perspective, you know the press version of the contract with some "eye" popping attention grabbing numbers provided by the agent, the Bears just signed a punter (Podlesh) for 10 million.
