Cullen, "Man I really wanted to play for Green Bay for a reduced rate, but thank you Mr. Snyder, I'll gladly sign on the dotted line because you are the highest bidder, and I already have a ring."
Your guys' BS detectors don't go off on that one?
Uneducated Packer fans, "Man, Ted Thompson is a tight ass!"
Educated Packer fans, "It's a good thing we have this young stud Neal to take his place!"
Like I said, thanks Cullen, but fuck off and go cash in. Everyone is happy except Nostalgic Packer fans that enjoyed watching you destroy Chicago's O-line.

First, I think it's unrealistic to expect players to play for our team at a reduced rate. Second, and more importantly, apparently that wasn't an option because the Packers didn't make Jenkins an offer AT ALL. He is no longer a part of their plan. They're banking on Neal to take his place.
I like it that since you couldn't find anything bad that Jenkins said, you just made up something silly. Also, the feelings that you attribute to "uneducated Packer fans" are not something I've seen much of, if at all. Most fans seem to accept the fact that Jenkins is going to command a higher salary than what the Packers want to pay him, considering his injury issues. This whole thing is just a non-issue, as far as I'm concerned.
