I was raised that you held your feelings to yourself and did not discuss problems. That was the one area that my parents were wrong.
For one of the things that I have learned in my many years, is that the old adage that real men don't discuss feelings/problems is bullshit.

Sorry for the ramble...

So when are you going to admit your ailment of being a Packer admirer in retarded purple garb?

LT, I am sorry for the battle you face. I'm still trying to figure out why my daughter got a brain tumor and am coming up with anything, just trying to face each day and help her out. I think I'd definitely invest in a state of the art hot tub if I were you.

DT means well, but take that with a grain of salt LTF.
"State of the art hot tub" in North Dakota involves sitting a watering trough and farting.

Thanks for the kind words...Still hoping tomorrow will bring good news..But with the lesions, and symptoms from what I been told really cant be anything else..Least that was from my internist

Right now both bottom of my feet are burning and tingling, feels like I have a straight jacket just around my back and belly tied as tight as possible..

I was diagnosed when I was a teenager. I have a heredity form of the disease. My pops, uncle and grandfather had the disease.

one thing I can tell you is do not let the disease control you or become the fiber of your entire being.

I take Valium when needed, stay active as much as possible.

Two best ways of exercise, swimming and body elastics.

when you do body elastics, use door jams to secure the bands, not your body, it puts to much stress on your joints.

do not get depressed, stay active!!

here is one of the best dr.s

Dr. Bhupendra Khatri , he is at st. lukes on 27th and oklahoma.

its a crazy disease that effects mainly women in the midwest. Basically, if you think of a piece of electrical wire with the rubber coating on it, the rubber coating is short circuiting. they do not know why, but the body attacks itself, eating away at the "rubber insulation" on the nerve endings causing the body to have shorts.

the legions on your brain are caused by the nerve endings in your brain being eaten away and the electrical impulses from your brain are shorting out.

you will see dr. khatri, he is a MS specialist. there are treatments and drugs that can slow the progression of the disease.
Just depends if you can afford them and will your body accept the drugs.
I just try to lead a clean life. eat healthy, lay of the booze, DO NOT GET DEPRESSED AND STAY ACTIVE.

both physically and mentally. do puzzles, crossword puzzles, games.

do not overdo anything. do what you can, when you get tired or cramp up, stop and rest.

after awhile you get used to jumping muscles, burning, numbness. My feet never get cold in winter. I ice fish with no gloves and have been ankle deep in freezing water and never realized it.

your in a good clinic with good dr's.

seriously, Dr. Khatri is one of the best DR's you can see for MS.

I would highly recommend you see him.

Dr.s are really trying to find out why MS is really concentrated to the Midwest. Is it some type of pollutant, is it a heredity issue?
I was even told it could be from working in an industrial environment and being exposed to chemicals.

This dr spent a whole 1 min doing an exam and says I am not sure it is MS..I see the spots and see why they thought it was MS

Ordering mri of my mid back and neck since my legs are still burning and tingling and that I have lot of pain in that area..

I think I may take DH advice and call his DR

How can my primary dr say he is pretty sure it is MS to another Dr say he doesnt think so??
