Glad I'm in California. Our politicians are whacked too, but at least we got good weather. :-"

All the friggin' pinkos trying to gang up on Cheesey. Wisconsin invented whack liberal dems- so, no wonder.

Much of the country is laughing at you. Your shit-box educators indoctrinated you, and you were too fucking lazy to fight it, intellectually.

Pavlovian dogs.

Recall because your Governor tried to unfuck you.

lol-- You oughta put Cheesey in charge, imo.

Actually Dfoster,

Wisconsin has a proud heritage of progressive politics, root word progress. Sadly, those days are gone and a too large portion of the citizens have been convinced that right wing republicans actually care what happens to them.

Walker and his ilk are trying to return this country to the days of the gilded age, the precursor to the great depression, a country full of robber barons and no middle class.

I'm actually quite saddened by the shit that's going on in my home state.

But you're right, lots of folks all over the country are laughing at Wisco, but not for the reasons you think.

Cheesey, what I never understand about all of you non-afluent Republicans is why you would rather see the wealthy continue to line their pockets off the back of the poor man instead of helping the poor man have a better life - and yes, it really is that simple.

Oh, it's not that simple you say? Hmmm...

If the Teapeople and the occupiers realized they all come from common ground, the current people in control would have some trouble. But since both sides have a couple philosophical differences, a merger will never happen.

We'll see.

Please don't wonder why public employees are laid off to the point that your kid doesn't get any individual attention, the cops don't come quick enough, and your house burns for awhile. The union got that money.

Isn't Wisconsin the progenitor of AFSCME?

Nice job. Tell your grandkids. They'll be so proud.

Kick that can down the road. I'm sure the property taxes (e.g.) will go down, that debt will disappear. Let's help more of the down-trodden, those dirty corporations are trying to make a PROFIT on what they sell!!! Can you believe it? Confiscate that money and give it to the working man. I say we print more money- that''ll fix all of it.

I'm not a Walker fan. He's a politician. He's elected by the same American zombies that keep electing bimbos like Obama, crooks like Blagojevich, and airheads like Dubya. He's a waste of resources.

But, I see the same old, same old, tired, Progressive/Populist/KnowNothing rhetoric, and I want to shoot the two generations of high school and college teachers who are responsible for the zombie plague.

Next thing you know, someones going to start yammering about liquidity traps again.

Everyone's so bent out of shape about Walker that they don't care how much money is wasted and time is spent trying to vote someone out of office halfway through his term when the competition is as incompetent as he is. But hey, wasting millions in taxpayer dollars is great. I'm sure you'd be all for Republicans trying to recall Barrett when he tries to push his own agenda and lines his pockets with union money, right?

Jesus, everyone needs to grow up a touch. You lost. Walker campaigned on half of what people are bitching about, and you're pretending like voting for the lesser of two evils is the only thing preventing the apocalypse. We've lived through a couple decades of terrible presidents and completely worthless congress, you can live through 2 years of a governor you don't like. Or we can throw tantrums about politicians we didn't vote for while chiding people from the other side of the aisle that throw tantrums about politicians they didn't vote for.

I've changed my mind about the recall, actually. I still think it's bogus/idiotic. But I think of it this way; every hour that a Wisconsin politico (or the national politicos that supported one side or the other) is like an hour campaigning to zombies. If they're recalling or campaigning, that's an hour that can't be used enacting and promulgating more idiotic rules for us non-zombies.
