Nice thing about being deep in the play offs ... less downtime with watching my team activites :)

ya draft day coming - too bad we are too far down for speculation ...
I just want a decent KR/PR guy ... IMO that and another OL peep oh ya another corner ... we are set after that IMO.
ya sure maybe a WR to groom.

ok draft done time for 2011 season
:)

We do have one glaring need, and that is a legitimate returner. You do not temp the injury Gods by trotting out your starting and nickel corners to do that work. We played with fire all year and we are damn lucky we didn't get burned.

When it comes to injuries, I don't see how lucky GB was this year. The starters doubling as returners was about they only area that they didn't get injured in.

The Packers will have up to 9 picks in this draft. I'd like to see Ted Thompson trade up high enough to take both QB Cam Newton and OT Anthony Castonzo. That would be an awesome first round. If Cam Newton was gone, I wouldn't mind seeing Thompson take WR Julio Jones.

I'm guessing/hoping you are being sarcastic about Cam Newton? Not sure if your sarcasm is translating or what?

I'd love to go interior o-line in round one, either a guard or a center. OLB or tackle would be another good choice. We got to protect Rodgers and run-block better.

This is how I see our o-line after Colledge leaves:
LT: Clifton
LG: Lang
OC: Wells
RG: Sitton
RT: Bulaga

I would like to see more depth at tackle, some young stud center.

I really liked the part where he attempted a Lambeau Leap, and the two guys on either side just stared at him, then he hit them on the backs. Looks like he wants to be in a GB. Don't we all.......

In order of importance:

LT - Clifton played great but will be gone in 1-2 years, Tauscher won't be back.
CB - Woodson is old, now is the time to develop a replacement for 2 years down the road and take advantage of his mentorship.
LG - Area that could be improved, good for line depth.
KR/PR - It would be nice to get a combo player (CB/Returner) but no matter who it is is almost always a compromise at the second position.

In the end none of my analysis is going to match up to the pros, but it's fun to try.

LT - Clifton is almost at the end.
KR/PR - Would be awesome to get some good yards on kick offs / punts.
CB - We just can't get enough depth in this section
OLB and LG.

Need a receiver in the first 2 rounds. Driver's getting older, Jones likely won't be back. That leaves Jennings, Jordy, and Brett Swain. No es bueno. Maybe if Jones is back it's not so pressing, but I'd still like to see a receiver in the first three rounds.

Next, how about a legit outside backer with Clay? No Brad Jones, no Zombo, no Walden - a legitimate outside backer that makes offenses make the Hobson's choice of blocking Clay or the other guy. Can you imagine?

And finally, another corner would be good. Chuck's getting up there in age, and while I have no doubts about Tramon and Shields, behind them there's not much else. Build some depth back there.

Think of it this way.

The Packers don't have a first round pick but have the top pick in round 2.

Think of them as having the top pick in each round except the first.
