Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, whose team won the Super Bowl on Sunday night, spent much of the day at Disney World before flying to New York for a visit to The Late Show with David Letterman.
Hmmm. The Super Bowl was on FOX. Disney owns ABC. Letterman is on CBS.
Maybe we can get him on NBCs PFT Live.
Letterman asked Rodgers about his predecessor, who once famously sat in Lettermans guest chair and dropped a strong hint that the First Annual Retirment may not take. Said a smiling Rodgers as to whether Brett Favres what should I do? routine became a distraction, I was the guy who took all the reps during the offseason, and Brett was the guy who took all the reps during the season.
Rodgers also explained that, after high school, he considered focusing on baseball and possibly joining the military before landing a Butte Community College. Then, while Cal coach Jeff Tedford was scouting one of Rodgers teammates, Tedford discovered Rodgers and offered him a scholarship on the drive home.
The extended segment ended with Rodgers throwing a pass to Letterman, who unlike a few of Rodgers teammates didnt drop the ball.
