It normally takes me 4 hours to drive from La Crosse to Racine. The other night it took me 11 hours.

'Nuff said.

At least we're all alive, and unlike thousands of others, didn't end up in the ditch.

One man's treachery is another's playground. Driving on ice is not a big deal, but it helps if you do it annually and have enough intelligence to keep good tires on your vehicle. A lot of people like to get that extra 10,000 miles out of their tires, but I always figure a round of tires is cheaper than the deductible on my insurance cause I just slid through an intercection.

I spent a couple hours yesterday shoveling out more of the driveway so that the wife can turn the car around in the drive. The snow was waist deep.
I did it mostly cause i was getting frustrated waiting for the Super Bowl to start, and all the pre-game crap was making the time drag.
