Yes, Starks will get some carries. Guaranteed. I hope he lights them up. But I'm realistic about it. It's the Steelers D. Look at how they played the run vs the pass all year long.

I agree.. we are not going to "light" them up. (From the post you quoted)
I expect us to struggle to run the ball for a high YPC.. but I expect us to put in the attempts similar to post the Lions game. IMO.. it was that game where Mike McCarthy realized that he has to mix up play calling enough and varying the looks in which he ran the ball enough to truly open the passing offense up.

On the statistics.. I was there Sunday night after the Packers beat the Bears and the Steelers prevailed.
I have compiled stats, game tape and a jealous wife because of the amount of time spent on the research. I don't just throw things out there.. there is a boat load of time spent more so watching games than in the stats.. but I don't ignore the stats.

1. Their corners. I don't care how much they write about the Steelers defense.. but you can attack this defense on the edges. This is not a very good group and rely on the front of the defense to minimize their exposure.
I expect a couple early double moves to force LeBeau to adjust his scheme for the day.. bring some of the heat off the pressure packages and making him drop additional guys into coverage to allow the Steelers safeties to play over the top and protect the corners.

All I want is a win.. and I thought after the Lions game that Mike McCarthy would adjust.. he has and we are playing our best ball of the season.
