The curse of Craig Hentrich is finally over. Let's hope Uncle Tightwad Ted has enough money in the coffers to lock him up.

Ted doesn't so much hate to spend money to keep guys around, he just hates spending money on free agents that haven't proven that they are a good fit for our team. Masthay will stay for a long time if he keeps this up, IMO.

Masthay has been awesome. It's about time our special teams comes through.

Random tidbit - our former punter, Jeremy Kapinos, plays for the Steelers. Do you think this will make the headlines? "Former Packers Punter Has Chance to Avenge Former Team." :tongue3:

Masthay did a great job. Glad we don't have to complain about how much of a problem punting is any more.

I am glad we don't have to listen to people complain about punting any more.
I want to go out like my Grandpa did. Peacefully in his sleep.
Not screaming in terror like his passengers.

Weird not to have any attempted FG's in the last two games. Thats what happens when you have an offense that is so successful when in the RZ or even within FG range (with the exception of the INT off of Drivers foot).

Just a thought after the talk about TWted locking up some key players.
But with the CBA so uncertain, and the possibility of continuous seasons without a cap, or even a possible lockout.
I couldn't help but grin over our timing for a superbowl run. I'd like to know the stats towards revenue created for a team getting so many extra games televised, merchandise sales, media coverage, etc.
This could really give us a jump start on what might be a messy situation.

It was the interception by Urlacher that happened in the red zone--not the one that bounced off Driver's foot and into Lance Briggs' hands. And wpr is right. Crosby kicked two field goals and missed one against the Falcons.

YEP. Oops 🙂 Completely forgot about that for some odd reason.

Yes but what I meant was that we were getting into FG range when Briggs caught the INT off of Drivers foot, and we were already in the RZ when Urlacher picked Rodgers off. I should have explained it better. IDK what I was drinking last night. My wife made me watch The Bachelor. Leave me alone 😉

I knew that this game was going to come down to special teams. Masthay played his best game I've seen all year. I was highly critical about him losing the Redskins game for us, but he has proven his worth the past two months.

I hope he has a long successful career in Green Bay.
