I don't know if Aaron signed something for her the week before or not.

From listening to the little snippet with CM3 this is after they got back from Atl. Clay says that he was talking to the stewardess about her. The lady acknowledges that she has talked to the flight attendants in the past. Therefore she hangs out at the airport when the team comes through.

With that said it is common practice for professionals of all sports to "be unavailable" by wearing their ear buds or head phones. They may or may not have them turned on. They look down or look ahead and avoid eye contact. That way it is easy to say, "I didn't see you." Perhaps I would do the same if I were them. How many autographs does a person have to sign? I don't know the number. On the other hand there were not a 1000 people in the airport wanting autographs it doesn't hurt to sign 4 or 5 each time.

I used to like Florio. He was doing something (online rumors and tidbits of info) that no one was doing, and he was doing it pretty well.

But he got too big. First it was all the sprint plugging he was doing, and now his marriage with NBC. And now he feels he has to opine and dig dirt like Jack Anderson.

He was a lawyer with a habit of a human being. Now he's just another lawyer-asshole doing non-lawyer activities to get attention.
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

He's never liked ESPN after being fired/quit and he used to use Scheffter for a lot of his rumors, but now that Scheffter is off to ESPN, he's caught between a rock and a hard place and his website becomes much less relevant.

also wondering if PFT took the time to report on this during the summer.

He asked Aaron to sign the football hed caught. He wondered if
hed make it out to his daughter. It isnt shocking that Rodgers
obliged. What caught me off guard was the dedication he made. It wasnt
until after Aaron left that I first saw the autograph and the simple
yet sweet message that brought tears to this fathers eyes:
To Cheri the angel. Save me a spot. Aaron Rodgers

I'd bet a full year's pay that this would be a slamfest instead of the rally to defend.

Perhaps you're right, but I know for my part my reaction would be identical (hell, I was defending him during the sexual harassment debacle). The woman was wearing a pink hat -- what's the big deal? How is anyone supposed to know that somehow makes her special?

This article has nothing to do with Aaron Rodgers or Jan Cavanaugh. It is all about a tasteless attempt by Florio to create unneeded controversy. My guess is that Jan Cavanaugh, as a fan of Rodgers and the Packers, has no interest in controversy in this situation and has been significantly more offended by Florio's article than AR's brush-off.

That may be true, but when one is speaking to the media, one must be cognizant of every possible way one's words might be twisted, misconstrued, or misused. I've been interviewed by the local paper quite a few times, and even though I know the reporter personally and she likes me, I have to ponder every word I say before I say it. I remember in one article, I somehow came off cocky and critical of our university, even though the words I said were intended to be purely complimentary of the university. One just never know how the words will be used -- much less how the readers will interpret them. In my case, I don't believe the reporter had any intention to paint me in such a light; that is just how readers construed the article. It's weird.

The best course of action is to act like one is on trial: keep the answers as short and direct as possible.

Jan Cavanaugh had Aaron Rodgers sign two things prior to the Eagles game. Many players confirm that Jan is there quite often. She was also there when the Packers arrived at 3am Sunday.

This is from Jason Wilde whom said this was confirmed. Jason said because there were no camera's prior to the Eagles game when he signed two things for her, that it went unnoticed. He also said that Aaron is heavy in the Make A Wish and MACC foundations.

TheKanataThrilla (5m) : Exactly buck...Washington came up with the ball. It is just a shitty coincidence one week later
buckeyepackfan (6m) : I forgot, they corrected the call a week later. Lol btw HAPPY BIRTHDAY dhazer!
buckeyepackfan (8m) : That brings up the question, why wasn't Nixon down by contact? I think that was the point Kanata was making.
buckeyepackfan (14m) : Turnovers rule, win the turnover battle, win the game.
packerfanoutwest (14m) : well, he was
TheKanataThrilla (19m) : Eagles down by contact on the fumble....fuck you NFL
Mucky Tundra (41m) : I think this games over

packerfanoutwest (4h) : that being said, The Ravens are the Browns
packerfanoutwest (4h) : Browns, Dolphins have longest AFC Championship droughts
packerfanoutwest (5h) : As of today, Cowboys have longest NFC Championship drought,

Zero2Cool (24-Jan) : Raiders hired someone from the elderly home.
dfosterf (24-Jan) : I'm going with a combination of the two.
beast (24-Jan) : Either the Cowboys have no idea what they're doing, or they're targeting their former OC, currently the Eagles OC
Zero2Cool (23-Jan) : Fake news. Cowboys say no
Zero2Cool (23-Jan) : Mystery candidate in the Cowboys head coaching search believed to be Packers ST Coordinator Rich Bisaccia.

beast (23-Jan) : I wonder why the Jets always hire defensive coaches to be head coach
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Still HC positions available out there. I wonder if Hafley pops up for one
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Trent Baalke is out as the Jaguars GM.

Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : I've been near death ill last several days, finally feel less dead and site issues.
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : It is a big deal. This host is having issues. It's frustrating.
Martha Careful (22-Jan) : just kidding...it was down
Martha Careful (22-Jan) : you were blocked yesterday, due to a a recalcitrant demeanor yesterday in the penalty box for a recalcitrant demeanor
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Was that site shutdown on your end or mine? No big deal, just curious
beast (21-Jan) : That way teams like Indiana and SMU don't make the conference championships by simply avoiding all the other good teams in their own confere
beast (21-Jan) : Also, with these "Super Conferences" instead of a single conference champion, have 4 teams make a Conference playoffs.
beast (21-Jan) : Also in college football, is a bye week a good or bad thing?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : The tournament format was fine. Seeding could use some work.
beast (21-Jan) : You can't assume Ohio State would of won the Michigan game...
beast (21-Jan) : Rankings were 1) Oregon 2) Georgia 3) Texas 4) Penn State 5) Notre Dame 6) Ohio State, none of the rest mattered
wpr (21-Jan) : Texas, ND and OSU would have been fighting for the final 2 slots.
wpr (21-Jan) : Oregon and Georgia were locks. Without the luxury of extra playoff berths, Ohios St would have been more focused on Michigan game.
