I noticed the same thing about the low snaps now that you mention it. I was swearing at the TV a few times in the 4th quarter.

They mentioned Wells' size and I was shocked that he was even 300 lbs (according to Packers' website). The line still seems severly undersized no matter what the roster says...and I assume part of this is purposeful in order to accomodate the ZBS, or whatever basterdized form of that we currently are running. Now whether or not that's the most effective way to run this team from a Rodgers' protection standpoint or our run game, well...

I like Rourke, quite a bit. With that said, take his stats provided without a source with a heavy grain of salt.

What does a low snap mean for a QB?
If you have to bend down, you miss out on field depth-blitz breakdown. Think of going round a corner that says "35 mph" and in the middle of the turn, you look to your right for a split second and then re-focus your eyes forward. btw, you're going around this corner at 60mph. Not a good feeling is it?

A snap that does not go between the numbers does not necessarily mean it's a bad snap. If you don't have to take your focus off the receivers, it's not a bad snap.

On a WR screen, the snap absolutely needs to be spot on, same goes with any other pass route that the QB needs to catch and release instantly.

I didn't watch every single shotgun snap performance. I did watch some and I didn't see any that stuck out as 'omg bad snap!'.

We had several other issues that are far more concerning than the accuracy of the snap.

My definition of bad snap is one in which the quarterback has to a lean down to catch it. In other words, a snap below his knees. Are you saying those are not necessarily bad snaps?

How does a low snap percentage and how it is being tabulated figure into the layers of the concussion issue? ;)

Cool..

Here I thought maybe the thread was mislabeled and meant to be a "Scott Wells should be fired" thread. 😉
