I know this much, Matthews will manhandle Loadholt. That O-line isn't build to face pressure from the LDE and/or LOLB position. That O-line really isn't build to well in pass protection, overal.

Matthews was supposed to "manhandle" Loadholt in the first game too. And our pass rush was also supposed to dominate their OL.
And we got, what, 1 sack? On the last play, I think?

1 sack, yes.
But those interceptions where a direct result of getting pressure.
Brad Jones hanging around Favre's ankle caused that first pick.
Jarius Wynn killing Favre caused that second one.
On the last pick, Charles Woodson was half a second away from causing a fumble.
Favre gets it off fast. He doesn't like to take sacks, he wants to make something happen. That results in some miracle plays, but more often than not, in interceptions.
The stat sheet doesn't show it, but we were getting some pressure.
Next to that, Matthews was manhandling Loadholt, but
Phil got away with some blatant holds. He had to snap Matthews neck before finally getting a call against him.
