Plus he is one hell of a nice guy.
He's the player that gave me that game glove that LTF's brother has, plus he's the guy that gave me that autographed photo that Ironman has.
That wouldn't be much of a big deal, except I never even asked for them.
The glove was given to me when my family's friend visited him and she mentioned what a Packer zealot I am, plus she merely told him that I had told her about his 2 TD performance the previous week. That conversation took place at the metrodome---on Kuhn's nickel, no less--and she is a Vikings fan, for cripessakes.
The photo is the best one--nice guy, class-wise---
He was visiting her here in Pennsylvania AND ASKED HER if Dave would want an autographed photo--- It had never crossed her mind to even ask for such a thing, her being a [strike]moron[/strike] Viking fan and all...
He had simply remembered that there was a "local" guy (for him--he's a central PA boy) named Dave that rooted for him and his Pack, and that was months? weeks? after the glove gift.
The items themselves are no big deal, but the thoughtfulness was, imo.
How could I not cheer for John Kuhn?
