I like John Kuhn just as much as the next person but isn't hollering "Kuhnnnn" everytime he touches the ball getting a little excessive? It gets a little old hearing it when he runs for two yards on 2nd & 7. Maybe if they just yell it when he gets a first down or scores it wouldn't get old. I only get to watch the games on tv, so I don't know what it's like there but I kind of got tired of hearing it everytime he touches the ball.

Where else would you hear thousands of people chant the name of a fullback when he runs for 3 yards?

i think it fun,maybe they feel when they chant it he'll cut loose and make the big play.

ya thats about it - the dude must love it too - having all those people chant your name and your just a fullback.

haha I laugh every time. It's awesome. When I watch it on TV the announcers never say anything about it, but I always hear it cuz it's so damn loud. Even at the away games it's loud as hell!

nothing new. "moose" johnston for the cowboys, or even calling out "Rooooon Daaaaaayne" for the badgers a few years back were similar examples of fans doing the same.

I love it.
It's a testament as to what the fans think of him and I was proud to participate when I was at Lambeau.

Maybe it was to annoy the Cows. Remember Moose? It would be 2nd and 5 and he'd run for 2 yards and the Cow fans would go nuts. "Moooose!" I was thinking "STFU!"

Agreed Yooper.
We cheered for him not because he gets 2 yards but HOW he gets them. He punishes the would be tackler.
He always seems to get another 2 yards AFTER first contact.

Quick Kuhn story-
Guy sitting next to me last night told me that his wife helps run a charity in Milwaukee. Milwaukee 100 something or other.
They had a fundraiser and one of the events for kids was this giant rubberband pull. To try and see how far they could pull it.

When the fundraiser was all over James Jones and John Kuhn wanted to try the rubber band out. Kuhn broke it. The band is about 2 inches in diameter but he snapped it and flew across the room and landed on the ground. Everyone was scared he broke an ankle or something. he got up laughing. Jones was giving him a hard time.
