I think the Packers were more so booing the Vikings QB, than booing Brett Favre, at least, that's my hope.

It hasn't sat well with me that fans booed him walking off Lambeau Field for the last time. I don't know what I expected, if anything, but the booing just didn't sit well. It's like kicking a guy when he's already down.

The booing of Favre just shows the collective ignorance of most Puker fans.

The guy just HANDED YOUR TEAM THE FUCKING GAME. Your team won. You cheer the SHIT out of Favre for his performance that night, and the previous games he's done something for you.

No.. it was definitely a "Favre" response.. just as the booing was a bit louder when Longwell came on the field.

I would not have boo'd him. I would not have cheered him either. As i said before, he took great joy in handing the Packers 2 losses last year, and admitted it. I am a PACKER fan.
I was long before Brett Favre played here. Maybe that's why the young guys here can't let go of him. He was all they knew as the Packer QB.
When he retires and they retire his jersey here, i will applaud him. I may even tear up.
But right now, he is NOT a Packer. Remember, he was trying to beat OUR team Sunday. And the way he jumped for joy when he THOUGHT he had done so shows where HIS loyalty is.
He was trying to put a dagger in the heart of MY team.
Should i cheer that fact? You think he wouldn't have been celebrating had he beat the Packers again?
My fan loyalty lies with the Packers, ONLY.
I don't "hate" BF any more then any other NFL QB that tries to beat "us".
He WILL get my cheers when he goes to the HOF. Or when his jersey is retired here. But for now, he's a member of the "enemy".
I don't see why some can't understand that. Except as i said, maybe young guys only know him as our QB.
He won ONE Super Bowl in all his years here. Keep that in mind. ONE championship in all those years.
He is one of the most entertaining QB's of all time. That's FACT. It will be a sad day when he hangs it up for good. That's fact too. I WILL miss him.
It's been a really fun ride with him, for sure.

No, it just shows the young guys appreciate what Favre has done for THEIR favorite team and they appreciate his gutsy performance that ended up as THEIR team's win. No one would have expected you, or any other Packer fan to give him a standing ovation if he won the game.

But, like I said, he's the one that gave up the game to the Packers. All of your fans should have been slapping Favre's ass and show their gratitude for such a performance.

No Formo....it wasn't just Favre. It was a TEAM effort! Am i supposed to stand up and cheer the Vikings as they leave the field for being inept?

Favre wasn't the only reason the Vikings lost. His lack of an O-line that could keep the Packers away from him, your D-line that couldn't get to Rodgers, just as big as Favre's antics.
The facemask grabbing of Clay Matthews that cost your guys 15 yards, the sack of Favre that cost more yards, all that was just as big.
Fact is, the Vikings as a team are not even close to where they were last season. They have seemed to lose it on offense and defense at an alarming rate. (Alarming if you are a Vikings fan, that is)

No one said it would be cool to see the fans stand and cheer for the Vikings. They said it would be cool to see the fans stand and cheer for Favre. Considering it's 99.9999% chance of his last game there, and his team lost (another bonus). Also

I know it is a team game.. But just like I gave the majority of the fault of the NO loss on AP, I'm giving the majority of the fault for this last game on Favre.

That said, my post was mostly tongue-in-cheek. I could care less what your fans do, really... Well, I thought it to be ignorant to boo Favre on his way off the field. Your team just won, go celebrate. Not crush on a dude while limping his way to the locker room after breaking his ankle.
