Both have been spectacular season. Right now, I'd have to give the nod to Urlacher, only because the Bears have a better record.

The amount of good MLB's in the NFC is just baffling. We got Willis, Lofton, Fletcher, Vilma, Henderson, Urlacher, Ruud and Laurinaitis, who are all worth a Pro Bowl spot. And only two are selected.

Barnett.

And if Caroline hadn't shuffled their defense around a bit, you could add Beason to that list, as well.

I want to say E.J. but he has such a great DL to play behind that any LB should perform very well behind.

I think Urlacher is over rated.

I had no idea Henderson was that old.

Stat wise, looks like Urlacher wins. But, if I recall correctly Henderson had the more devastating injury. And a shorter recovery time to boot. I'd give the nod to him over Urlacher. I've always felt Urlacher was overrated as it is and benefits far too much from that "monsters of the midway" nonsense they've got going on over there in Chicago.

I don't get the Urlacher hate. Sure he's got bad taste in women but that's outside of the game itself.

He's a dang good MLB, but his entire Conference has a lot of studs at MLB, including our very own Nick Barnett (who is underappeciated by Packers fans).

The one thing both Urlacher and Henderson have in common is when they're not there, their respective team's D goes all to hell.

By the way...what is Urlacher's taste in women?

Wade - He dated Paris Hilton for awhile. So between Romo and Urlacher, hard call on whose got worse taste.

By the way, I'm at work now so can't do this, but I know there's a tape somewhere of Urlacher and Hilton in a restaurant together and they're sitting there together then suddenly, Hilton's cell phone goes off. She dives into her bag, then completely ignores Urlacher and starts blabbing on the cell phone. The look on Urlacher's face is priceless.

For right now, I have to give it to EJ with all due respect to Urlacher. Few things.. EJ has played one less game than Brian, but has totaled the same amount of tackles. EJ will never have more sacks than Brian because Minnesota's defense doesn't blitz from that position much (and why would they? They have a pretty good front four). Minnesota's defense is rated higher than Chicago's. EJ suffered a career ending injury.. and not only came back from it, but came back from it 6 months faster than expected. Both come from a defense that loaded with defensive stars, so that point is a wash. And lastly, the timing of said injuries.. EJ broke his femur like in week 12 of last year or something. Urlacher broke his wrist (I think that was his injury) in week 1 or 2 of last year. Urlacher had pretty much ALL of last season and this full off season to get ready. EJ had a few weeks of the season and then obviously all of the offseason.

Unless EJ's production goes down, I just can't see giving it to Urlacher, IMO.
