This guy needs to go. His line-drive kicks have killed our teams. His duck of a punt in overtime gave Miami a huge gain in field position. Ted Thompson has never found an a better punter than Jon Ryan. It's a shame.

I am glad that someone posted this. I know that things like injury's and the o line draw attention but IMO this is our biggest issue.

Green Bay - where Punters go to die. I don't get it. He just seems to be wilting under the pressure. How freakin' hard is it to find a punter in the NFL?

Can Mathasay along with Slocum and bring in someone who can coach special teams for a living.

If we should fire anyone it should be slocum man he is a bad coach.

Edit:He has no experience when coming to the team we need some experience.Like dom capers he has so much experience and look were he brought are D,2008 we were like 20th and we were 2nd last year.

True enough. But don'tcha know, it's impossible to find at least a serviceable punter. Almost as impossible as finding 5 guys who can protect your QB after however many years.

Jeff Feagles anyone?

every f'n college team, D1-3, in America has someone who can consistently boot it at least in the upper 30s...and out of that pool you need to find 32 semi-competent guys, who have nothing better to do all day long than to practice their craft, yet so many teams, especially the packers still have worthless bums like Mathsay who punt 5 for a 38 average with a 37 yard BOOMER in overtime!

Boggles my mind!

Normally I oppose the "this guy sucks - get someone else!" thing, but in this case I have to wonder if someone like Feagles couldn't at least bring some stability to the punting game.

But at some point, I'd like to figure out why guys can't punt in GB but can just about anywhere else.

Two glaring areas where we can't seem to coach worth a spit: OL and Special Teams (though if any group has been hit hardest by injury, it's probably Special Teams).

Zero2Cool (11h) : There's a toggle for light/dark theme. Super easy.

dfosterf (25-Jul) : Probably a homer access credential intimidation kinda thing
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Meathead "journalists" skip this, concentrating on operational revenue when convenient. They switch when net revenue is more favorable.
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Resulting in an actual drop of net revenue of 12.5%. She is from Minnesota. Just sayin'

Mucky Tundra (25-Jul) : also, no bueno when a guy starts getting concussions right off the bat in his career
