^ Greg, I would agree, but you have to factor in the fact that the Lions were getting a decent rush too.

I still do not see the Lions as talented to lose by only 2 points. We have some serious work to do.

Considering McCarthy got the penalties cleaned up BIG time from last week, I'm cautiously optimistic that he can do something to fix our turnover problem.

When has Rodgers carried the offense this season? Rodgers has been disappointing, for the most part, this season. If anything the rest of the offense should be getting frustrated at the inconsistency of HIS play.

Whoa, dude.

Rodgers has to carry this team without a legit RB. He is, basically, our biggest playmaker and in this pass-heavy offense we will only go as far as Rodgers can take us.

He's taken us to a 3-1 start at this point. Playing his best football? Not at all, but it's above-average nonetheless.

Outside of 6 quarters this season, Rodgers has been very consistent with not just making the right reads but throwing passes that give his receivers a shot. I'm willing to let 2-3 bad INTs slide, because no QB is ever going to be perfect. But Rodgers has been pretty efficient of late.

I think Aaron Rodgers may be getting frustrated that he is having to carry the offense so much. Other than Finley, the Packer receivers are not making as many big plays as expected, and with the running game becoming such a minor part of the offense, the receivers need to do more.

Two reasons we struggle:

1. no legitimate #1 RB
2. Lack of TALENTED depth at any positions. - Ted Thompson issue to deal with, but won't.

Fact: His throwing has been widely inconsistant throughout the season. Certainly he has done more than his part to carry the offense, but nevertheless he hasn't been playing to his ability, for whatever reason.

He had one bad throw today, the under throw to Jennings. Other then that Rodgers was great at usual, his TD passes to Jennings and Finley were both fantastic throws.

Yeah I think that's a little much to say the offense should be frustrated with him. Guy had a perfect passer rating in the first half.

I think it's time to use Kuhn as the #1 back. I desperately wanted Jackson to show me something but he hasn't. He's a 3rd down back, and a pretty good one, but not much else. I feel like when he gets the ball he stops and looks around for a hole. Maybe if our O-line was a little more robust this would be an effective running style but it isn't. If there's an opening in the line it's not going to last long enough for him to stop and weigh his options. Kuhn is able to plow forward for at least 3 yards nearly every time because he's a good North-South runner. He just lowers his head and plows forward.

The upside is that he hasn't been holding on to the ball and getting sacked. He's making much better decisions about those situations over last year.

Were they high? Yes. Too high? No. We can be better than this and we've proved it. Stupid mistakes make for a lack of discipline or something much more serious (like maybe these guys aren't as good as we thought, individually).

I agree with Twinkiegorilla.
