Isn't it a right to be pissed about winning sloppy?
It is what some get worked up about more so than that they are worked up.. this game is a game of emotions.. and that is why we are truly addicted to it.
So how come so many take offense to getting worked up about it?
Like Zombie alludes to... many of us lived through the 70's and 80's of losing week in and out.. then we have gotten to enjoy the 2 decade run.. but we haven't scored enough Superbowl in that span.. and we are hungry like a crazed dog for another one.
And we see enough flaws in this team to make us worry about losing again in the postseason and truly fear defeat.

But it can be annoying. We're panicking about the running game for instance when the running game was NOT the problem yesterday. It was our STs and our D.
I also showed on another thread that of the Playoff teams last year, 3 teams were in the WORST 5 for rushing, yet, they made the Playoffs (I know what I said was redundant; that's intentional). The Saints won the SB last year rushing for a whopping 51 yards.
Meanwhile, we fumble twice on KO returns. Both fumbles led to FGs.
The other problem is we weren't stopping Shawn Hill. The guy kept the Lions on the field all day long. They were on the field 9:50 in the first Q, 9:32 the second Q, and 10:59 the 3rd Q. Why couldn't we get them off the field?
I have no problem whatsoever when someone is bitching about legitimate problems. But when someone is bitching because they have sand in their vagina, it bugs the s*** out of me.
This isn't directed at you, Pack. It's directed at the people who are bitching about what our problems aren't.
Our running game moved when it had to. The very last drive was a thing of beauty. We could have put another TD on the board, but instead, we decided to let Aaron take a knee.
Kuhn looked good. Jackson was ok. The STs were awful. Our D made some big plays but other than the big plays, Shawn Hill looked really good. And lastly, you gotta give credit to the Lions' WRs. Those guys are super studs. Most underrated WRs in the NFL. Easily.
