I like Jones a lot. And I think he's substantially better than Nelson.
And I find myself strangely unworried about the fumble. He fights for YAC like Adrian Peterson fights for yards running, and that means he is going to lose the ball occasionally. As long as he doesn't start to fumble with the frequency that Peterson did the last couple years, I'm not going to be bothered.
The comparison to Sterling Sharpe is a good one. Jones isn't quite that talented, perhaps, but he's got the same physical style which I really like.
And lets also not forget, the odds that that particular kind of fumble doesn't go out of bounds are very very low.
I'm not trying to excuse the fumble. He should have hung on to the ball. But I'm not worried about how often Rodgers goes/has to go to Jones.
