Bump.

Well, yesterday you got your answer. Jones > Nelson.

Nelson was targeted deep once. I cringed. Nelson never gets any separation from his defender when running deep. He runs good routes, I'll give him that, but he gets no separation because he's too slow.

Jones looked more like our #1 WR yesterday. He seemed to be playing Driver's 2007 role.

I'm telling ya, this guy is money. Last year, AP had fumblitis and this year, he has yet to fumble the ball. It's not that hard of a problem to correct. That's pretty much his only problem. He's tough as nails. He's elusive. He's fast. I'm pretty sure Ted Thompson will sign him as it looks like Driver may fall to #3 next year. Jordy will still be #2. That makes Jones and Gregorious as our top receivers next year.

Watching the playcalling last night at the field.. I am convinced that the Packers don't have a #2,#3, or #4.

They interchange them rapidly and often.. with really only one consistent player in most sets.. Jennings.

Jordy Nelson was clearly #4. He wasn't in for that many plays. Gregorious and Driver were in for almost the entire game and Jones was clearly in a lot more than Nelson was.

I know this because Nelson was on my fantasy team. I didn't find out that Lee would be our KR until the game started.

Nelson's now off my fantasy team.

Watching Jones play last night on TV... I am convinced that he should start shifting the ball to his outside hand.

Driver had very limited reps because of his quad injury. Sorry, I guess I'm picky.

Not necessarily. If a QB is flushed he'll throw it to the first person he sees that is open. Er, at least to the first receiver he thinks is open (if it's Voldemort it is usually the other team 🙂
